                  A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHANGE ORDER NO. 2,
                  CONTRACT NO. P-1-95, BITUMINOUS PAVEMENT
                  RESURFACING, WITH VULCAN MATERIALS COMPANY,
                  WHICH CHANGE ORDER INCREASES THE CONTRACT
                  AMOUNT BY TWENTY-NINE THOUSAND, SEVEN HUNDRED
                  FIFTEEN AND 05/100 DOLLARS ($29,715.05), MORE
                  PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, FOR A REVISED
                  TOTAL OF TWO MILLION, THREE HUNDRED
                  NINETY-FIVE THOUSAND, TWENTY-FOUR AND 03/100
                  DOLLARS ($2,395,024.03).
                 
                 
                                                    
                 
                 
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized
       Change Order No. 2, Contract No. P-1-95, Bituminous Pavement
       Resurfacing, with Vulcan Materials Company, which change order
       increases the contract by the amount of $21,657.66 for paving 
done
       for the Chattanooga Public Schools and $8,057.39 for paving done
       for the Parks and Recreation Department, totaling $29,715.05, for 

       a revised total contract amount of $2,395,024.03.
